Common Questions

How long does a typical transfer take?

Most transfers complete within 24–72 hours. Registrar push transfers are fastest (hours). Auth code transfers to a new registrar take 1–5 days due to ICANN's mandatory waiting periods and registrar processing times.

Will my website/email stop working during transfer?

DNS settings are preserved during transfer. If the domain was actively hosting a website or email, those services continue working uninterrupted as long as DNS records remain unchanged. We recommend noting existing DNS settings before transfer.

What if the transfer fails?

If a transfer fails due to a technical issue on our end (incorrect auth code, locked domain, etc.), we retry immediately at no cost. If the failure is due to registrar restrictions or buyer-side issues, we work with you to resolve it. See our Refund Policy for eligible refund scenarios.

Can I transfer to any registrar?

Yes. We support transfers to all ICANN-accredited registrars. Some country-code TLDs (ccTLDs) have specific transfer requirements — we disclose these upfront in the domain listing.

Do you provide post-transfer support?

Yes. After transfer completion, we remain available for DNS setup guidance, MX record configuration, SSL certificate questions, and general domain management advice. This support is included at no extra cost.
